Protecting patient privacy is core to everything we do here at Pulse.
Richard Evans Vascular Services – trading as Pulse (‘Pulse Health’, ‘REV’, ‘Richard Evans Vascular’, ‘Pulse’, ‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’ and subsidiaries) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and otherwise handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 (New Zealand).
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of personal information:
Name, email address, phone number and postal address (including emergency contact details).
If given.
Test results and other health information including, where relevant to the consultation or procedure, your family or social history.
And relevant information.
Details you provide when enquiring about, emailing an online consultation form or booking a clinical or aesthetic consultation or treatment.
Purchase history, payment details (processed securely via Stripe — we do not store full card numbers).
Pages visited, browser type, device, IP address, and referring URLs, collected via Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
Emails, enquiry form submissions, consultation form submissions and any other correspondence you send us.
2. Purpose of Collection
We collect personal information for the following:
- To provide and manage clinical and aesthetic services.
- To process bookings, enquiries and shop orders.
- To communicate with you about appointments, treatments, advice or orders.
- To improve our website and services through analytics.
- To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
3. Storage & Security
Personal information is stored securely in New Zealand and/or with trusted cloud-based service providers. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS compliant. We do not store credit card details on our servers.

We may share your personal information with:
For anonymised website analytics and tag management. Data is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.
For secure payment processing. Data is subject to Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
To deliver the services you have requested. We only allow authorised people to access our information systems, which hold all patients’ information, including images, photos, radiologists’ reports and other sensitive data related to patients. All staff are required to sign a confidentiality agreement and comply with Pulse’s Confidentiality Policy and Privacy Policy. Other health professionals we refer to or consult with from time to time must also comply with their professional and ethical obligations of confidentiality.
People eligible to apply for access to our information systems include: Pulse staff; referrers of patients to Pulse; other medical practitioners, including specialists; and other allied health professionals including physios, chiropractors, podiatrists, nurses and dentists. Persons who are authorised to access our information systems are provided with a secure web based password-protection portal to access patient information and reports.
Patients’ health information may be available to a referring health professional. With patients’ express consent, or at the request of, or with the express consent of, a person lawfully acting on behalf (such as a parent acting for a child) we may provide relevant information about you to your representative, or another person or health provider.
Information is protected by the auditing of our account holders regularly.

Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve your experience and to collect analytics data (via Google Analytics). You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some website functionality.

7. Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. Clinical records are retained in accordance with applicable New Zealand health regulations. When information is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymised.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page. We encourage you to review it periodically.
